Congratulations on your long New Beetle "affaire"
: three cars are quite a lot.
Couple of "places": it may have fallen off, but it's hardly possible, I think... or the previous owner may have kept it, as a souvenir form her/his car. Or perhaps your New Beetle has come a longer way than expected: in Germany you could actually order a New Beetle with a red top, red leather interior trims, just like the LRE, but it would have come without an LRE badge since it would be meant as a standard car.
But I'm not the expert on this matter: the
true expert will show up shortly, I'm sure.
Anyway: any Volkswagen dealer should be able to sell you a LRE badge
